Alice Walsh
Polo
Alice Walsh is an international polo player who has represented the GB ladies team and strives to compete at the highest level of mixed polo. She is very skilled at training horses and re-trains racehorses into polo.
Alice was successful at youth level (playing for England Colts twice) and has progressed to becoming a top professional in ladies polo. From a Computer Science graduate at Warwick University to an IT Consultant, to CEO of a polo startup, her passion has driven her forward to overcome the barriers of entry to the sport by creating innovative opportunities to play. Polo has been the heart and soul of her career and life.
She now dedicates herself to raising awareness, increasing accessibility and levelling the playing field for women in the sport of polo. She co-founded a platform called Lineup Polo that helps club managers organise tournaments and publishes this information for players and spectators to keep up to date via a mobile app. Their mission is to attract more people into the sport, increase professionalism and change the way that polo is perceived.
Alice is only ever content when learning or being challenged. Currently, she is focused on improving her match performance and building up her assets in order to play for top organisations across the world.
