Motorsport
I am an ambitious racing driver from the Isle of Lewis, a remote island in the Scottish Outer Hebrides. I grew up on a dairy farm and was driving anything I could from the moment I was big enough to reach the pedals: quads, tractors and I drove a car for the first time at the young age of 12.
I always had a passion for motorsport, having several project cars I would work on myself and modify, swapping the engines for something with more power. I also had a drift car I drove (sideways) on track during my time at university.
I studied Motorsport Design Engineering in Glasgow and secured my first job in Formula 1 with Williams in 2017. I worked in their Research & Development department, testing and development their car and the individual components. I then moved to Mercedes High Performance Powertrains where I tested and developed the Formula 1 power units before moving to the main Mercedes Formula 1 team in Brackley, where I still work now.
My true calling is behind the wheel of a racing car and so I put my full focus into chasing that dream 18 months ago. Since then I have fast tracked from karts to single seaters and signed with IMC Motorsport. I am determined, hard working and ambitious, with an exciting road map in place to achieve my goal of being a full time, professional racing driver.
