Off the water Beth has worked in a number of roles in local charities and is in the final year of a degree course at Nottingham University.
She is passionate about protecting our rivers and waterways and raising awareness of their ecological importance. Spending a significant amount of time training and competing on rivers and waterways across the world alongside her university studies of the environment and river pollution allow her to see rivers from an alternative vantage point. Using her platform, she endeavours to communicate the significant damage we are causing to our rivers and what we can do to protect and promote their importance.
