Iain Sanderson is a legendary pioneer across business, sport & sustainability.
He led the creation of Dynamo Marketing Group which from a cold start went from 0-150 persons and £3.7m ebit in 12 years. Dynamo the agency inspired many to start their own business, create 285 ‘Dynamo’ branded black cabs and at least 12 children.
Alongside the Dynamo business adventure Iain secured 8 offshore circuit powerboat racing national and international titles. No safety in this branch of the game with large fleets and mishaps a plenty. Swimming to win a championship just one of the many anecdotes plus there were learnings aplenty.
Iain led the ‘Lightning Car Company’ which launched the spectacular Lightning GT at the London Motor Show 2008. It won ‘Car of Show’, featured on News At 10 and was at the very forefront of 21st century EV in the UK.
He secured the legendary F1 winning team marque ‘Vanwall’ in 2012. The subsequent story of challenge, failure and now a nasty trademark war is compelling.
Now a successful Mentor and Chairman who doesn’t just listen but actually hears too. This leads to advice which not only resonates but works in practice.
He is also involved in numerous environmental roles with Train Hugger, Fourth Element Diving, E1 boat racing and a major decarbonisation initiative.
